Break Up Rhyming Poem

You chose red, and I choose blue,
baby there’s nothing we can do
So forget about it, tonight.

Gone are things I once knew
about feelings I once have for you,
but forget about it, tonight.

I hope you find someone new,
someone who loves you like I do,
so forget about me, tonight.

When I’m old and my years a few,
I will still remember you,
but you’ve already forgotten me,
 tomorrow.
