Intro + Day Two Poem: Scabs

Instead of writing a Novel for November, I'm doing a poem a day. The reason for this is because poetry doesn't get a lot of credit now and days, and well... I like writing weird poems. Anyways, I know it's the second of November but I was posting these on my Facebook (the formatting is horrible) so I moved to blogger. I'll post my Day One poem later, for now Day Two - Scabs

Scabs:
I pick at my scabs
ripping them off slowly,
blood and puss seeps
out of the wound.
Fingers wet with fluids,
happily
 I lick it up.

A purplish-red bump
farming four to five scabs
that I prod, poke and peel.
It’ll be scar tissue,
but if it’s up to me,
 it’ll never heal.
Sometimes
I leave it alone till it’s almost healed,
and then I go at it again
I
still
love
you.
